THE CHARACTER
To quote his parents, Langford Kenneth Brown is "something." What that something is is something Lee hasn't figured out, and the intention behind it (negative) is something he refuses to completely admit to himself. Regulars at the Inn have called him an odd little ray of sunshine, though those old folks worry that he shines a little too bright - like the flash before an explosion. He loves those folks, even if he doesn't love how much they notice. Lee's good at his job and he doesn't fall apart on the job, but boy does he fall apart after he steps out that door.
You see, former Ravenclaw turned family outcast and Bartender is, surprise surprise - a werewolf. Turns into a mangy mutt on the full moon, no control, could rip your throat straight out. Charming.
The change is new in the last year because who knew going on a hike for friends giving would turn into two friends dead, a werewolf, and the one that got away scarred for life. How do you begin to recover from that? There weren't supposed to be any outlaw packs in the area, they'd checked for any area warnings beforehand. Hadn't expected to learn how big of a range werewolves could cover on a full moon, especially on a hunt. How that pack of three had ruined their lives.
It took months for Lee to heal physically, let alone begin to heal mentally. Hard to, when you're one of the only survivors. Had left his job at the ministry for a gig at the Three Broomsticks, felt like there were less eyes always watching.
Endeavoring to be more normal ray of sunshine than ray of sunshine on the verge of explosion. More calm, less frantic. His thoughts tend to be scattered or scattered easily, his space littered with lists to keep things together these days. Still protective as he can be, just with a debilitating fear of the outdoors.
He has to put his life back together eventually.
