Harry Potter:"Do you really think there's going to be a war, Sirius?"
Sirius Black: "It… feels like it did before."
TURN ON THE LIGHT is a Post- Potter roleplay that takes place twenty-five years after the Second Wizarding War.
We welcome canon and original characters in this (currently) sandbox style roleplay.
He was scared of what his future would bring. But more he feared having to watch something happen to Teddy. He should have removed himself completely from Teddy's memory but he didn't want to lose hope. One day they would meet again, they could be friends again and Maxwell would tell him why he had to do this. His heart broke at the pleading, silent tears escaped his eyelids and rolled over his cheeks. “Ah hope one day you can forgive me,” he whispered quietly, his hand trembling after having to do this to his friend.
There was no other way. Teddy definitely would have tried to save him and only gotten himself killed in the process. Max would just have to endure this for a little longer. Submit, surrender and behave as expected. Get himself numb and his hands dirty, let himself be used, be abused. There would be a way out eventually. One day he’d be a free man again. One day he could embrace his friend again and tell him they didn’t have to be afraid anymore.
He stared at Teddy’s blank expression, his bottom lip trembling. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Goddamn I’m fuckin’ sorry.” Max gently touched Teddy’s shoulders and started guiding him out of this room. He had to find that spicy tiny friend of his, she surely was around somewhere. He had to tell her they couldn’t come tomorrow. That Teddy should stay away from Max from now on. But could he order those things?

Teddy, blank stare and all as the spell wiped his slate the last hour clean, was easily led out of the room and back to the party where Max would see to it that he found his way back to Leah.
The Keeper looked up, her brow furrowing at the unexpected arrival of the two men, but also caught off guard by the blank look on Teddy's face and the destroyed one on the groom to be's. What the heck was going on here?!
"Uh... Why do I feel like I missed something?" She not so tactfully announced, looking between the two men immediately suspicious.
And just like that he was back to reality. How had he gotten here... Wasn't he just? His forehead wrinkled and he lightly pressed his fingertips to his temple. Had he had that much to drink? Shake it off man.
"You're not the only one." Forcing a chipper smile that didn't quite fit him he looked over at Max. "Excited for your big day?"
