"And Gryffindor wins!" An outbreak of cheers came from the stadium as Rawiri, captain of the Gryffindor team, raised his hands in excitement. He grasped his curly black hair as he flew around on his broom, astonished at how they beat Slytherin. It was a close game that would go down in Hogwarts history!
Rawiri flew down to his team. "Amazing job, everyone! We did it! Now, you know what time it is!" He said excitedly. There was going to be quite a party tonight for the Gryffindor house. Rawiri could not wait. After all, Rawiri was one never to turn down a party! Especially one where he could boast about his team (mostly about himself).
Running around the corridors, everyone was super loud, and laughs could be heard everywhere. The sound was quite lovely. Rawiri waved to on goers who congratulated him or complimented him. He also did not hesitate to wink at quite the good-looking people. He was sure to get a hookup for tonight.
Before the party, Rawir wanted to make sure he looked and smelled his best. After all, a quidditch game. He smelled like a Snallygaster, and something that surely would push away possible hookups of the night.
He returned to the dorm to clean up and put some nice cologne on. After that, he was on his way. He walked down the steps of the Gryffindor room when he noticed someone familiar on the couch. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Every from Gryffindor should be celebrating, not staying in. He went around and noticed all people Leah Silvias. Rawiri should have known just by the fiery red hair. "Oh Silvias, what are you doing?" he gave her a stink eye. She was not supposed to be here, especially because she was part of the Gryffindor team.
You wouldn't know that Gryffindor had won if you had seen their Keeper hitting her gloved fists against the handle of her broomstick in frustration. Frowning her brow wrinkled in annoyance as she watched their team captain, Rawiri Tibble, showboat around the pitch. He didn't care about all of the mistakes, all of the missed points they could have had, all he seemed to care about was celebrating and all of the eyes on him as fellow teens made plans of who was to swap spit with who at the after party. A small part of her envied his carefree-ness. Another part absolutely detested him for it.
"Good game, Silvias!" Came a chubby Hufflepuff boy's remarks as she dismounted and trudged toward the locker room. "Can you sign my Potions homework?" Not hearing him, with a loud grunt, she marched past him. The boy's friend, a Ravenclaw, patted him on the back. "Ask her at breakfast tomorrow. You don't want to get in her path tonight. Leave that to Tibble." Both boys watched her walk off with stunned eyes saying a silent prayer for the Quidditch Captain.
The rest of the team would be partying tonight. Not her. Instead she sat on the window sill pouring over her playbook sketching various ideas and figuring out what tiny things had went wrong in their most recent match. This was a habit instilled in her from a very young age since her first year on the NY Wolves. People expected a lot of her even then. Now that the prodigy had a few years of experience under her belt the expectations were even larger.
"Uh... I'm a Gryffindor and this is my common room so..." She shrugged, appearing unaffected by his question, eyes not even looking up from her playbook. "Here I sit." He would have something to say about it surely. He always had something to say to somebody possessing the gift of gab. If she had any talent for spells she might learn one for silencing. "What does it look like I'm doing, Tibble?" She turned a page, freshly showered and wearing her black sweatpants, socks, and a t-shirt featuring the logo of a muggle band, her hoodie unzipped and hanging around her athletic frame.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be tongue deep in your latest flavor of the week?" Boom. Got him. "If they aren't already attached to your mouth might I suggest heading to the party before everyone is taken?" A pause. Was he still there? Blinking she looked up, frown deepening. "Now's a good time."

God had Leah Silviavs annoyed him. Instead of partying with the team, she was sulking in the window. Rawiri did not understand her. Instead of being happy, they won, and she chose to sit in the common room and do work. No, Rawirir was not having it. The team should stick together during these times. It looked terrible on him if one member was off doing the worst thing, imagable work!
"Looks like you're a party pooper. That's what it looks like." Rawiri crossed his arm like a stern dad giving his kid a lecture. Rolling his eyes, he came beside her trying to look at what she was doing. "I wish I were tongue deep, but here I am...talking to you." He smirked a little. "I couldn't get my kicks off if I knew you were here sulking alone with no one after a big win. All for one or no at all...is that the right line?" He patted his index finger on his lips, thinking about that quote. The thought of one team member not attending bothered him. There was no time for being sulky. It was a time to be excited. After all, they beat their rival Slytherin!
"Hmm, I can't head to the party with your dressed...you know...like that." He eyed her up and down, seeing the dreaded sweatpants. Rawiri was making her go to this party, if she liked it or not. No ifs and or buts. "Now your fairy godmother is here to dress you for the ball or, should I say, party." A sly smirk fell upon Rawiri's face. He knew he was in for a real fight but wouldn't go down easy. If there was something, Rawiri did best, and it was getting on Leah's nerves.
"Oh. I guess you really got me, Tibble." Party pooper? Is that the worst insult that he could come up with. With his brain span - probably. She rolled her eyes as she continued making marks and lines in her open playbook, scribbling away. "I'm hurting over here." Except she wasn't and if she was she would never let it show. With only a few years of professional Quidditch play under her belt she had been taught not to show any signs of weakness to the public. No surprise, no tears, no anything... Just a will and a way to win the game at the end of the day.
"I bet that you do but alas, your tongue is still up in your mouth." God, how she wanted to rip the annoying thing out with her bare hands. "You know, there's a solution for that..." As he stepped up alongside her trying to steal a peak of her book she tucked the pages against her chest practically hugging it to herself. "If you don't want to be up here with me you can just, uh, leave and go somewhere else." With a glare she looked up at him, her lips dipping into an annoyed frown. Where did he get off exactly? Probably with half the girls and guys in at Hogwarts if his behavior and school gossip was any indication.
Was that the right line? "It depends what you're trying to quote." She informed him without missing a beat. "If you're referencing the three musketeers then... sort of... barely." Shocker. Rawiri could read... but it was more than likely that he had heard it from a muggle film or from someone else only to butcher it on his own just now.
"And for your information I'm not sulking. I'm working." She rose to her feet crossing the common room and tucking the book into her messenger bag where he couldn't get to it. "Sure we won but a lot of mistakes were made. You made mistakes. I would think as the supposed Captain of this team you would want to evaluate and work on them for future matches." Turning to face him her brown eyes scanned him up and down. "But more than likely you're not trying to score as much on the Quidditch pitch as you are with-"
Just then two blonde haired Gryffindor classmates, seventh year school chums of Rawiri's, busted in giggling and laughing. Clearly someone had found the butterbeer that was stashed away under Cole's bed.
"Them." Crossing her arms over her chest she fell quiet. Aside from her Quidditch prowess and occasional autograph giving she didn't have many friends. Being muggle born and a celebrity could do that to a kid let alone a teenager. And what few things she did try to get involved in, the student body ostracized her from. "This is the only kind of stuff I own." She admitted, not sure where he got off wanting to dress her like some sort of doll. Apparently this was the incorrect thing to say...
"Oooo! Are you dressing Silvias up? We want to help!" "Yeah! We want to help!" "I have the cutest little dress. It could fit with a tightening spell." "I have boots." "Oh! Boots!"
A pained and worried expression took over her face as she looked at Rawiri taking a step back. "No. No way."
Half an hour later she was descending the stairs of the girl's dorm and meeting Rawiri back in the common room. The two girls had done her hair (what they could), put on some makeup (again what they could with her swatting), and put her in a yellow dress and white/black saddle shoes. A valiant effort all around.
"I look stupid..." She frowned, sulking as she looked at the ground in shame. Then again, maybe that had been Rawiri's evil master plan all along.
"Well, you know I got to call it when I see it. No hard feelings," Rawiri goofed, knowing all too well how Silvias was. It was just how to too acted with each other. The two were known throughout the whole school as the old bricking couple even though the couple was a stretch for Rawiri's liking. Married to Silvias, he laughed at the thought of that. They would probably be divorced in five minutes if that ever happened, or the two would kill each other. It would be one or the other. Rawiri couldn't see any different outcomes. Not that he thought about marrying Silvias at all or even dating her.
"Ya, it's becoming a problem. So come move, move." He fanned his hands in a shooing manner to get her moving. "Hmm, don't even think it, Silvias. I'm too macho for you." He teased back, knowing what her 'solution' meant. But why not gross her out if he could? He raised his one eyebrow and the side of his lip in a what are you hiding when she pulled away from him as he tried to look at what she was doing.
"Oh no, no! Everyone is supposed to be celebrating, even cranky pants Silvias!" He scolded her like she was his child. "Don't bite your lip either. You keep doing that, and they'll be gone before you graduate!" He couldn't help but joke once more. Oh, how he did enjoy teasing her.
"Probably that one, I don't know, but you know what I mean!" Rawiri was trying to make a point to her. "Everyone on the team should be there; it is a big win for us." It wasn't good for the team if they disbanded after a big win. They should all celebrate their hard work together.
Rawiri rolled his eyes when she asked what they could do better. That's what she thought of right at the moment. "Oh, merlin Sivlias we just won, and we can think about that later. Right now, it is time for them to celebrate. Not tell them all they did wrong. It's not good for morale." There was a better way to address mistakes and how they could improve, but if he did that right at the moment, he would be taking away the win they just made. It wouldn't be right.
He moved his hands as a puppet to mock her scolding him about being captain. Bleh bleh bleh he thought. Before she could go on more about how bad a captain he was, two beautiful Gryffindor classmates Rawirir happened to know walked in. In a flash, his expression changed.
"Well, hello, Ladies." He said with his signature flirt smile on. He couldn't help but chuckle when the girls were excited that Rawiri would get the famous stubborn Silvias to dress up. "I mean, I'm not surprised this is all you got. I did say I was your fairy godmother. And you have to wonder young ladies to help you." He turned his head back to Sivlias, smiled, and nodded at her. "Yes, way!
Tapping his foot on the ground and looking at his watch, he wondered how much longer they would be. He was going to make sure his cinderella would make it to the ball for the night.
Finally, he heard steps coming down. Wow, Leah looked different, not half bad, he thought. Maybe she would find her prince tonight after all. "Look at you." He threw his arms out. " You'll be the belle of the party, not stupid at all. Now let's get going." Rawiri grabbed her wrist and "Off to the party before it hits midnight!" He tugged her along, excited to see what people would say when they saw her in her dress.
"You're a problem." She murmured under her breath but made a point in doing it low enough so that the older boy would hear. He was determined and undeterred however, as he shooed her off in the direction of the girls who would be performing her 'eighties style move makeover' for the evening. God, she didn't even like these two girls. To be honest, Leah didn't like much of anyone. She found that a lot of the Hogwarts student body only spoke to her because they wanted an autograph or wanted to tell their friends they were spending time with Quidditch's hottest new star or because they insulted her due to her muggle heritage every chance they got. Neither was all that promising and was why she had walls built up around her. Rawiri though... He pushed a whole new set of buttons. He never seemed to want anything out of her other than getting a good rise of annoyance and for her to save Quaffles from going into the hoop (which she could do in her sleep). At the very least, he kept her on her toes.
"Macho. Ugh." She rolled her eyes so very annoyed with him (per usual). "Tibble... I wouldn't worry about that. You're practically barbaric." An insult from the fifth year girl he would probably mistake as a compliment - something that bugged her even more. "I am not a cranky pants. I just don't want to go to some silly party with people I don't even like." She huffed at him as the girls were pushing her up the stairs. At this remark, the two girls stopped, obviously not used to Leah's sarcastic and very blunt remarks.
His comment about her lip gave her another surge of energy. "Oh yeah?" Her hands clasped the railing of the stairwell as she peered over it, glaring at him. "I'll stop doing it when you stop being an obnoxious pain in my a-" The two girls grabbed her, one covering her mouth and yanked her back into their dorm where their work commenced but not without a final assurance/warning.
"Don't worry, Raw. We've got her." And with that all three disappeared into the room.
Once downstairs Leah looked absolutely miserable. More so because everything felt foreign. The makeup, the hair not in her face, the dress, the shoes... How did women do this?! "I look like a gremlin." She declared annoyed, pursing her lips to try and blow hair out of her face that wasn't there out of habit. "I don't want to-" She wasn't even able to finish her sentence as Rawiri dragged her down the hall and to the party.
In the hallway, just outside of the loud room one of the seventh year boys had enchanted into quite the rager, she took a deep breath, finding that she released it shakily feeling more nervous than she did before her first professional match. "They're all gonna make fun of me." She murmured, actually worried, not realizing that she had uttered the woe aloud. Imagine that... The Great Leah Silvias scared about something - and quite a bit too. Something so silly when compared to the trials and tribulations she went through daily on the professional pitch and in interviews/magazines.
The portrait opened revealing a big bash of the student body. Leah just stood there just outside the frame before looking at Rawiri. "Ok. I came. Can I please go back now?" Letting out a strained sigh her shoulders slumped. "C'mon. Nobody wants me here anyways... This is dumb."

"Yes, I am your problem though." Rawiri gave her one of his famous winks as he shooed her to the two girls. Anything that would push Leah's buttons, he would do. It was their signature relationship, after all. Rawiri pushes the button Leah snaps back. A love-hate relationship, he would call it.
"Well, all the boys and girls say I'm kind of barbaric...in a sexy way, of course." A mischief smirk came on his face as he played with her. Leah's words had never bothered him. Ninety-nine percent of the time, he immensely enjoyed them as he loved the banter. It kept school quite entertaining. It was far from the regular kiss-ups he dealt with. It would be a boring world without Leah.
"Aw," he pouted his lip sarcastically when she said she didn't want to go to a party where she did not like anyone. "Are you sure about that? I know Reid will be there, and I see you oggle him occasionally. Don't think your captain doesn't notice." Placing his hand on his hide. Rawiri had taken notice of the two once in a while sharing oggle eyes. After all, it was Rawiris's task to ensure he knew all the gossip and who was dating who.
A burst of laughter came to his face when the two girls whisked her off before she could go on about him. It was like she was being kidnapped, but a fun kidnaped that friends would do for a party.
Rawiri tagged along behind them. He moved alongside Leah once outside of the room. "Oh, you look fine. Best I ever saw you, to be honest. Always so hard on yourself." He tilted his head and smiled. Before he would let her ramble on, her grabbed her arm and took her closer to the lively room.
"Oh no, they're not. If anything, their mouths will hit the flower. After all, your walking in there with me. The Caption. They wouldn't say a word, and if they did...well, I deal with it." He gave her a wink assuring her it would be ok. Usually, he would insult her by now, but he could tell she was on edge. After all, Rawiri could be a mean tease, but he wasn't a monster.
The portrait opened to the party within. Rawiri stepped in and turned back to her. "Nope, it's time to loosen up and live a little, Silvias." Rawiri placed his hand out to her. "Not true if I didn't want you to hear, would I have gone through all the trouble?" He gave her a once in lifetime a, genuine smile. " Plus, I think I see someone oggling you up already." He turned his head to see Reid peeking up at them. He turned his head back to her."Come on. I'll glide you through like Cinderella."
"So let me get this straight... Their jaws will hit the floor but it'll have nothing to do with this stupid get up and because you're beside me?" Ugh, could he be anymore egotistical?! Of course he could, or else he wouldn't be Rawiri. She rolled her eyes unable to help herself. "Honestly, get bent Tibble." Merlin knows he would find some way to do it, even turning her sick burns into nothing more than challenges which threatened to suck the venom out of them... another thing she loathed.
It was like Rawiri had teasingly reminded her of earlier: he was her problem. Not just a problem but *her* problem. And it was true. While everyone else seemed to swoon for the handsome, charismatic seventh year Leah Silvias countered him at every turn. It was like he pushed all of her buttons that were set on annoy. She had long ago decided that he had probably never worked a day in his life having everything he ever wanted fall into his lap because he wasn't hard on the eyes. Getting away with bloody murder because he had a good-looking smile and a decent enough bone structure (god she hated herself for even entertaining that). The ironic thing was Leah, though a hard worker on the pitch, tended to get away with just as much due to her Quidditch prowess but somehow that was a-ok in her book (mainly because she as the one writing it).
"They lied to you, Tibble." Had been her response back in the common room to him referring to himself as sexy which was, again ironically, a lie on her part. There was no denying that he was good-looking. If one had any semblance of vision they could see it, but she would deny it tooth and nail to the grave.
As easy on the eyes as he was he also seemed mildly observant as he pointed out her supposed very true crush on a fellow Gryffindor Reid (a nerdy, lanky boy who preferred books and studies to Quidditch which was maybe why she liked him so much). But this was something she couldn't let Rawiri know (even if he already did) for one he would be right and she couldn't have that and for another he would no doubt use it against her and she *definitely* couldn't allow that either.
"Yeah... I'm sure that you'll deal with it." Her American voice oozed with sarcasm. She couldn't even look at him, the nerves and annoyance coursing through her veins seemed to make eye contact difficult. "I live plenty. In case you haven't noticed I'm the only one between us with an actual job." She frowned, still adamant about not setting a foot inside but he wasn't going to let her get away with it. At his remark her brow raised caught off guard and mildly intrigued. He wanted her there? It seemed like a sincere comment with no hint of his usual smarm. Was this a trap? She crossed her arms over her chest defensively sizing him up for another second before finally stepping inside, brushing past him but making sure not to wander too far ahead. A few excited whispers of 'Is that Silvias?', 'Raw got her to come?', 'Did she come with him?', 'Don't be daft. They're just blokes... not even.'
"Nobody's oggling me. And if they are, it's not for the reason you think." A hand belonging to a second year thrust a torn piece of paper from a book and a quill at her and without looking she took it, resting it on the student's back using them as a table as she signed, casting a tired glance at Rawiri. "See?" Would he ever realize that not everyone had the life that he did? That she had a job, a very public one, at such a young age? The pressure between that and being a teen in a land that you didn't know? That she could never tell if people liked her or if they wanted something from her? That as a muggle in this position it wasn't all peaches and cream? "And I hate Cinderella. Her whole personality was losing a shoe... I'll be Mulan or Megara..." Handing the student her autograph she turned back to face Rawiri, mainly because it meant she didn't have to look Reid's way.
"Ok. Now can I go?"

"Ok, Silvias, stop asking questions and just walk in with me!" Rawiri waved her on in a hurry. Rawiri was missing out on one of the year's biggest parties, and by missing out on the fun, he meant missing out on talking with cuties that he would snog later tonight. Why was Leah Silvias so frustrating to deal with? She was the hardest on the team to control and easiest to bump heads with. Rawiri did not know how much more he could take of her for the night. He just wanted his whole team there to celebrate their big win o the year. After all, it would be the last year at Hogwarts with all of them.
"Oh, Silvias, I'll get bent when you become a bubbly personality." He tilted his head a grinned at her. Changed accepted, he thought. Tonight was going to be not just fun but an interesting one.
Rawiri let out a little snicker when she said sure he could deal with it. That was one button he pushed. Check. "See, already caught up in all that work stuff, and your not even an adult yet! This is supposed to be the fun time of our lives, Silvias!" Why do such boring things when you could live a little, especially when they were so young? "I say for one night you put boring Silvias away and bring fun time Silvias out for one night! I know she is dying to get out, plus it makes the team and me happy. After all, I went through all this trouble to get you here, and I usually don't beg for anyone." Rawiri begged her. Just for one night, she could set aside being the mysterious loner that never put her broom down.
When she finally stepped foot in the door, he smiled. It was happening! Leah Silvias was attending a party with them! It was beyond thrilled. What fun especially hearing people whispering in the background, made this situation more exciting.
"Oh, I know when someone is oggling, and I am a knowledgeable professional oggler." He teased her as people came up to her for autographs. "See, Silvias, people do want you here!" He smiled at her fans. "No, Cinderella, you are. And no slander on my girl. She had a rough life and became a princess in the end."
Shaking his head. "Nope, you're here to the stroke of midnight, my dear." He grabbed her arm and interlocked it. Walking her around the room to a certain someone. Reid. "Oh, Hello, Reid. You remember Leah, right?" He turned his head towards her mischievously. Rawiri knew was he was doing. "I think, I'll grab us some drink. All three." Rawiri let go of Leah. "Keep an eye on her for me." Rawiri winked and walked away. Reid could keep Leah from leaving the party after just getting there.
Did he really just say that she wasn't any fun? Her eyes narrowed. "I happen to be very fun." She informed him sternly except that actually fun people didn't need to say that they were fun. They just were. Rawiri wasn't totally off the mark for once. Maybe he was *shudder* right. Would it really end the world if she didn't eat, breathe, and sleep Quidditch for one measly evening? Sure it felt like it to her but would it actually?
"They want me here for an autograph... Not for me." And there definitely was a difference but it was probably too subtle for the older boy to pick up on. Go figure. "You would like Cinderella." She murmured begrudgingly with a half roll of her eyes. "Your second favorite is probably Sleeping Beauty. Whichever princess has no control over her own fate..." But he wouldn't care about this lecture about feminism. She doubted he even cared about feminism unless a cute girl he was interested in making out with was into it and she certainly wasn't one of those.
His arm linked with hers and her eyes widened when she saw what he was up to. "What the hell are you doing? Tibble you fuc- Hi." She blushed now standing in front of Reid who lowered his book (leave it to him to be reading at a party).
"Hey, Rawiri..." The very skinny seventh year and fellow classmate of Rawiri gave a little smile from the chair he was sitting in. "Yeah. I know her. Hello."
"Hey..."
When Rawiri announced he was going to leave her with him, Reid set his book in his lap smile faltering somewhat caught off guard. "Oh, uh, alright." As Rawiri walked away he could hear the nerdy boy begin to talk to Leah about what he had learned about boggarts. Maybe that's what the Keeper saw in the boy. Though he talked a lot about nerdy stuff at least it wasn't asking her for Quidditch stories or free tickets.
It took Rawiri a little bit to return but when he did the chair was vacated and Leah was gone. Walton, one of the Gryffindor beaters remained, greeting Rawiri with a hearty handshake.
"There you are brother. Good game, mate." He clapped him on the back. "Can't believe that you got Silvias to show her face. Already lost her though did you?" Chuckling he nodded toward the vacated chair. "Last I heard she's out snogging Reid at the end of the hallway." He couldn't help but snicker. "Leave it to the Head Boy to get with the biggest star this school has seen in ages. Bloody figures man! Some people have all the luck." Shaking his head he set his butterbeer down. "I believe this is the first time she's beaten you in snoggings though. Never thought that I would see the day."
Rawiri rolled his eyes when she said she was fun; if it was anything, Leah was the opposite of fun. But he let her have her moment if it would get her in the door faster.
"Oh sure, Silvias. They just wanted your autograph for no apparent reason." A sarcastic tone came out of his mouth. Oh, she was so stubborn it drove him nuts.
"Hey, Hey! It happens to be Sleeping Beauty is a nice lady as well." He teased her more about the subject. Another topic he could get under her skin about. Placing that tone in his list of 'How To Get On Silvias's Nerves in less than 1 minute.' That would soon turn into a book for him.
Seeing how Leah Silvias suddenly changed when he brought her to Reid was fun. A different person she was. He should have added Reid to the team to keep her on her best behavior.
With that, he left the two to chat as he slipped off to enjoy some of the party. Rawiri flirted on the way to the drinks and got to talk to a few teammates. It was time for him to check on the two love birds, so he headed back to the area he had left the two, meeting up with a teammate Walton.
"Hey there, Walton." He shook his hand back. "Oh ya, you know how she is. A miracle that she came, though." He laughed along with Walton. "Snogging!?" Rawiri was in amusement. He got Leah to a party and hooked her up with someone. What a night! " She can have it. I just never thought she would do it. I have to see this for myself." Rawiri, with drinks in hand ran towards the hallway. He tried to peek in the hallway to see if he could find the two little doves.
"Miracle or magic. We'll take either one as far as Silvias goes." Walton laughed, joking right back with his Captain and fellow teammate. Though Leah and Rawiri argued like cats and dogs rather than grating it was actually pretty funny. Like watching one of those old time muggle television shows like the odd couple. Sure the two doing the fighting weren't amused in the slightest but that made it funnier somehow.
"You didn't hear it from me." The beater should have known once he dropped the breadcrumb about snogging Rawiri would latch onto it like a dog with a meaty bone. Oh well. Not like Silvias could trace it back to him if trouble should arise. He would just deny it. "Raw! Wait!" But off the golden retriever of a man already went. Walton held up his hands in surrender and laughed shaking his head praying silently to the heavens that absolutely none of this would be seen as his fault. Too late now though!
By the time Rawiri made it to the Hallway he would see a group of Slytherin boys yanking tall, gangly Reid away from the redheaded 5th year girl. Sneering and cackling they easily shoved the weaker boy to the ground before telling him to amscray which, after a look of hesitation to Leah who gave him a nod of approval, he did. This left her alone with the older terrorizers but she didn't seem effected in the slightest. Words were exchanged and after a few sick counter burns on her end.
Soon her fists were raised and a few swings occurred, she even landed one or two on the cronies until a menacing dirty blonde haired boy named Heather grabbed her wrist and shoved her roughly against the brick wall.
"Bite me." She growled within his hold.
"I wouldn't sully my mouth..." Heather sneered much to his two friends' amusement who snickered also crowding around her. Slinking his hand into his pocket he pulled out his elegant looking wand and tapped either side of her face with it, taunting, teasing... and not in a good way. "What shall we do with Silvias boys?"

Like a giddy school kid, he peeked his head through, waiting to see Leah and Reid but instead, he lied his site on a group of Slytherins. What the hell happened? This isn't what he wanted. What did these two crazy kids get themselves into?
Pulling out his wand, Rawiri approached. He should have gotten Walton to follow him, but Rawiri, while a great athlete, was a great dueler. What could he say? He got it from his father's side.
Oh, ew, even the way Heather talked was creepy. How they had even pulled any lady bewildered him. "Ew," he said as he approached the group.
"This wasn't the show I was promised." Rawiri walked up nonchalantly, not caring about Heather's other lackeys. Grin on his face "Oh, Heather, are you so mad at your loss that you would go this low tsk tsk!" Rawiri taunted the older Slytherin boy. "And look, you brought sparky and spanky. What fun!" Rawiri pointed and waved at the boys holding Reid down.
"Now, let's not do anything rash. You let go of him and my best keeper go, and no one will be hurt, and we can all enjoy the rest of the night?" Rawiri wanted to end this peacefully. After all, he got in trouble a lot, and he did not need this on his record, but he wasn't going to stand by and let them hurt Leah or Reid. "Sounds like a win-win to me? What do you say, Blondie?" Maybe it would get through that thick skull of Heather's not to mess with them, but Rawiri was in a defensive stance, ready to fight if he had to.
Ew? She knew that ew! Narrowed eyes that were threatening to bore holes into Heather's sneering face lost some of their venom. As cross as as irritated she got with the Gryffindor seventh year she didn't hate him. She might talk a big game (and loudly!) but he was too much of a harmless goofball for her to genuinely hate him. Now Heather on the other hand. Heather she could dislike every day of the week. He was mean to everyone, racist, sexist, just about every 'ist' under the sun. What was there to remotely like unless you were evil or desperate - and both of his cronies were probably the two of those things. But seriously, what kind of a name was Heather for a dude anyways?
"It's fine, Tibble." Leah murmured, fixing her outfit by tugging down hard on the hem. The last thing she needed other than his running, taunting mouth in the locker room was him telling everyone that he had saved her. She didn't need saving!
"Yeah. It's fine, Tibble. Ya heard the lady." Sneered one of Heather's cronies both cackling at every sentence uttered despite the fact Leah had landed a decent swing on them both.
"Get out of here, Tibble. This isn't any of your bloody business." Heather warned, not really wanting to fight a fellow pureblood. Clothes got stained with blood that way and Rawiri was more trouble than he was worth. Plus their parents knew each other. Rawiri's confidence caused the other seventh year's eyes to widen then he glared. "I said get going Rawiri. We don't want to fuss with you." But Rawiri, as usual, ignored them and continued on to the beat of his own drum.
"Gimme that." He reached out without warning for Rawiri's wand yanking it out of his hand. Leah seized the opportunity to push off the wall and tackle Heather to the ground. It was mayhem. Shouts, cries, the cronies raced to take on Rawiri (two against one) but he held his own. When all was said and done they were crumpled on the floor holding their stomachs and when Leah stood Heather was holding his robe sleeve to his bloody nose.
"How... How.... How fucking dare you!" He cried out.
"Yeah, not so funny now, huh?" Leah huffed breathless, on the Quidditch circuit she had been in worse scraps than this. Her cheeks were bright red as she caught her breath, fixing the straps of the borrowed dress only to have one of them slide down again. She paid it no mind. "Maybe you're the one who needs to get 'bloody' out here. Cause you're actually bloody. Get it?" Sick burns were usually easier to come by when the American wasn't dealing with adrenalin. "So you get the fuck out of here? How's that?"
Heather took a few steps back, his friends running off, but he couldn't let her have the win. If he couldn't beat her with fists he would do it with words. He was better at those anyways. "You think that you're so great. That you're so tough. You're not, Silvias. At the end of the day you're just a dirty, despicable, worthless little mudblood..."
Normally words didn't hurt her (and if they did she saved the tears for her pillow) but this particular bit of hate speech had caught her off guard. Her triumphant smile replaced with a look of stunned hurt. Like someone she trusted had gut-punched her. She couldn't think, she couldn't retort back like usual, she couldn't function. She just stood there staring. It was as though everything else in the world had faded away with one snap of the fingers and it was just her in a black hole of nothing.
Mudblood... I can work harder than anyone... Win them games... Win them bets... Entertain them... Give up my life to do all of these things for their benefit or amusement... and at the end of the day that's all I am to them... A mudblood.
It wasn't fine clearly. Why would she say it was fine? She was stubborn even when she needed help, but Leah was still his responsibility. Leah was in his house and his team and no one messed with his team. Especially a snotty blonde Slytherin who thought he was hot shit.
"Hmm, I think my senses tell me she's not fine." with a wise Aleck tone, Rawiri was one to play around still when danger was afoot. "Come on now, back away." He told the boy. "Not my business? I care to disagree. Leah is my business. She is my team member and nuisance, no one else's." It was true Leah was his nuisance and his alone. As much as she drove him crazy, he always liked having her around. It helped balance the kiss-asses on the team.
Before Rawiri could swing at Heather, Leah tackled him to the ground. "Well, that's not what I expected, but it works." He shrugged, grabbing his wand from the floor. He turned around the two cronies "Stupefy!" The two were shot back, passing out on the ground. Leah was holding her own.
He walked over to the now-standing Leah. "Oh, look at that, you gave him a bleddy nose. How cool." He let out a giggle. He liked seeing the bully get what was coming to him.
Rawiri let her get everything out of her system, and he looked around to make sure there was no one about. The last thing they needed was to get in trouble with a professor. "Ya, get out of here, Heather; you're worse than a troll. Go tell Daddy how you got your butt whipped by a Gryffindor!" He smirked at him, rubbing in his face their victory over him."Even your own lackey's can't stand you. See you, boys." He waved as they ran off, smiling big.
'a dirty, despicable, worthless little mudblood...' Oh no, he wasn't going to upset Leah. The next second, Rawiri blacked in anger and swung at Heather. Landing another hit on the boy's injured face. He grabbed him by the shirt. "If you ever call her that again, you'll be leaving for St.Mugno's with a locked jaw, you understand!" He grunted in Heather's face pushing him back with him running off.
"Ya run off, you snake." He turned back to Leah. "You alright?" he asked, ensuring that she was ok from Heather's words. While punches and cuts hurt, words had a way of making deeper wounds.
