Suspiria could carry around most of the information she needed in her head when it came to treating animals. Only a Jarvey was able to talk back most of the time so you worked by observation and trying to remember what you learned as a trainee. Fortunately the Beast Division has a good library that could be consulted when you found a gap in that knowledge.
So this witch made her way into said library wearing short boots, black trousers, a white shirt with a pink and green bow tie and a black suit jacket. Her strappy handbag was slung over one shoulder. While she was a tom boy she knew she still had to make an effort to look vaguely like a woman. This was general working clothes for her with some items of the 'day suit' changing daily. She also popped on her gold framed round glasses which she needed more and more.
Her case concerned a dog she'd seen today. A follow up visit was promised in a couple of days but first she needed to check on canine diabetes. Medi-wizarding folk knew it was a human affliction but a dogs case was different. It probably would be a long term problem for said dog to deal with. A book was located and a she sat at a table where a lamp rested.
She jotted things down in her parchment notebook as she read. This wasn't much different from putting your notes together when she was wrote essays in Hogwarts. As it wasn't that long ago there was bound to be people who still remembered her.
The information she had mined and recorded in a notebook was promising but where could she get insulin? Or something that would do the same job. She'd need to touch base with St Mungos for starters.
She kept reading and her quill scratched over the parchment in graceful handwriting. When Suspiria was in this frame of mind she was pretty oblivious to what was round her.
