Fee smiled. "Yes, thank you. I might stay awhile, actually," she said, glancing at the table of troublesome boys. "At least until your friends leave."
"Would that be a problem?" She couldn't stay TOO long; she had to grade papers and things before she went to sleep and, of course, spend some time with Jacques, but she knew that she still had at least an hour.
Seraphim looked at the guys and then back at Fee. The offer sounded genuine from the red headed witch given she'd helped already. "They're customers for as long as they're here but far from friends. It's like being back in school and having to hex the boys who can't take no for an answer" Sera replied while sighing. Nothing seemed to have changed since she graduated.
"I don't think they'll cause anymore trouble tonight thanks to you" she added with a smile. Even idiots learned eventually and these looked like they had.
"I'll get your fresh tea too" she added leaving Fee briefly to go to the kitchen and returning with a new pot. "So what does a professor get up to these days? They looked rather strict when I was a student" she quietly said.

Fee smiled. "Yes, I know they're not your friends, it was me being cheeky," she explained. "Thank you, you've been very kind." She waited for Seraphim to return, and then finished her chat.
"We...do this, I guess. I don't know what the others do; I don't have much of a life outside of teaching. Well, I've got me dog, and me friend River, but other than that, I suppose I just spend time at home. This was an outing after visiting River, actually. Have you heard of him? Wrote a book about...Magizoology. River Adeline?" It was always so awkward talking about her life to others, particularly strangers. "I always thought that, too. It was like watching a dog walk on his hind legs."
"As I said I'd have been able to hex them when I was a student" Seraphim replied once she came back with more tea. This one was on her as she gave Fee a smile. Was it right to think a professor was cute and still have the idea stuck in her head? Another probally bad idea fairy told her they were adults now so what harm could it cause?
Perhaps they weren't that much different once Fee talked about her dog. "My music does keep me quite busy. I have a cat and some close friends" she mused thinking about where she'd heard the mention of River before. "I had a string quartet gig in the US not that long ago but it wasn't all work; there was fun afterwards" she added before a partial recollection came to her.
"I might have came across his work in Diagon Alley though its not a subject I usually read about. Give me a pulpy sexy piece of fiction most of the time. Something you can get in our world but muggles do a lot more of it".
Perhaps she could do with more reality given the way she was. If she wasn't working here she was practicing music or at a gig. Free time was rare but did she need more time going out or was getting drunk with Tonia enough?
