"Been there plenty, thanks." He shrugged with his broad shoulders showcasing his signature charming grin despite the stupidity that he was uttering. "One too many knocks on the old noggin'." He leaned forward and whispered (loudly) at her. "Which we all know means head." He pointed to the side of his skull then returned to sipping his milkshake like this was a completely normal thing to divulge to a person you had just met (let alone your big boss). "Though, now that you mention it, the nurses probably miss me." He wasn't about to let on that the knocks didn't just come from years of Quidditch play, years that were now, for the time being and against his will, behind him. Nowadays he slipped leaving his bar because he continually underestimated the drop from the curb to the street. He didn't have that issue sober... funny that.
"I am. Legally." He once again pointed to his head like he had moments earlier. "Which we all know means binding." What his head had to do with that nobody knew but Phillip Abbott did enjoy a good pattern if only because it was dependable. He didn't have much of that nowadays.
"But you're laughing-" He pointed it out ducking into her view and now walking backwards in front of her, clinging to his milkshake in one hand and gesturing wildly with the other. "Which means that you're having a good time and that good time just so happens to be with me, Mister Stupid, so what does that say about you?" He stopped walking and grinned, a few good inches on her. "I think you need stupid in your life." And with that comment, he took a very loud sip of his beverage. Several people turned to look at him on the street from how noisy it was but the Harpies new coach ignored them all still grinning at Odette.
"Then I'll come." He agreed, even though he had been the one to throw the notion out there in the first place. "Do I get to hold a fancy clipboard and talk about personal goals or something like that? Please say that I don't have to talk about good grades. I don't think I'm the best person for that schpeel. I can however talk for hours about the Fast and Furious franchise if that applies and it usually does." Lowering his drink his face turned serious as he mugged for her with narrowed eyes, as if seeing something in the distance. "Family."
