Harry Potter:"Do you really think there's going to be a war, Sirius?"
Sirius Black: "It… feels like it did before."
TURN ON THE LIGHT is a Post- Potter roleplay that takes place twenty-five years after the Second Wizarding War.
We welcome canon and original characters in this (currently) sandbox style roleplay.
Of all the changes in his life that came with the new job, the one that was giving him the most trouble adjusting to was trying to get out and be more social. Seeing as how he was going to be going to more matches, and being out in public more, Cody figured maybe trying to build some semblance of a social life would be a smart idea.
If there was one thing outside of art that helped Cody feel at ease and minimize the anxiety he lived with, it was music. Cody had a decent singing voice, though very few people in his life had ever heard it. Strangers though? He had no issues there, which of course made no logical sense but that seemed to be a Kaleta thing.
This was a night he felt like letting loose a bit, so what better way than karaoke at a random muggle place? The odds of someone knowing him were slim to none, and he could just let himself go. He had just finished a song, and decided to wet his whistle while contemplating if he was going to go back up or just enjoy his night.
^^ song he sung, and yes that video is actually him >.>
As much as Seraphim felt wedded to her violin pieces she did get out and have other interests. Classical music was her way she earned her living but you couldn't the classical and opera influences in everyday muggle music. in fact it was still a thing and some groups did need a string section in certain tracks.
It was still something you found with wizarding music on a regular basis but tonight was about freedom. So this place hadn't been so random a selection for her. She had family in this part of London who were unaware she was a witch and she had to carry a mobile phone to keep up the illusion she was just like them. Off course the first muggleborn from her fathers side of the family would shatter that illusion forever. It would never work in Hogsmeade but at least she could catch up on her mails on occasion.
This wasn't too loud of a place. Not quiet but you could at least converse with someone as she headed to the bar with her black leather jacket, a black vest top and smart looking skinny blue jeans and DM boots. She looked ready to have a drink and to mingle at least.
Somebody else was at the bar and he looked interesting. So she said "Hello there. How are you?" A sharp eared person might spot the Irish accent.
