Located in a scenic field near the coast of Spain, the Quidditch Exhibition is an annual celebration of the sport. The week long event showcases exhibition matches between teams from throughout the international leagues. A festival atmosphere surrounds the stadium, with wide swaths of campsites for those who want to enjoy the festivities from beginning to end. Booths and carnival attractions are scattered throughout the grounds, with live music and food available. Come take in a match and, perhaps, spot your favorite players wandering around the event!
The Exhibition is open to everyone. Feel free to take part in the main group thread or create your own. Have fun!
The fact that Cody was now getting paid to watch Quidditch matches and make artwork from it still hadn't fully settled in. Sure, he had taken on a portrait or two from people, but it hadn't ever been something he thought he was going to make a living from. He wasn't QUITE at that point yet, but Odie seemed to like his work so the potential was definitely there. He wasn't going to complain though, every little bit helped.
There was a week long Exhibition that he had been asked to go to, with a number of players that Odie wanted some updated pictures for files. When he was told that he was going to be paid to go to Spain for nearly a week, there was less than zero hesitation on his part. He had never really been outside of the UK, so this was definitely an opportunity he wasn't going to pass up.
There wasn't anything specific he had to watch currently though, so he was currently just wandering the grounds, taking it all in. The sights, sounds, smells...it was just bringing a smile to his face that he had been sorely lacking.

Loud. It was loud. That was his professional take. If a reporter asked him how the Quidditch Exhibition was he’d say, “it was loud,” and that would be it. “Did you enjoy the event, Jace?” “It was a bit loud.” And crowded. His two least favourite things. Unfortunately, it would look a bit poor if the rest of the Falcons showed up without him, especially for a showcase event that was supposed to be for the fans. He did love the fans and Quidditch, enough that he was willing to muscle through the week without grumbling. Well, without grumbling too much.
Jace chanced a stroll around the festival, leaving the quiet safety of his private tent. Day one and things were already in full swing. Fans walked around decked out in their favourite team’s kit to show their support, many sipping giant slushy drinks to combat the warm weather. Kids sprinted by him at full clip, off to explore the activities. He was enjoying the relative peace before his family arrived and the matches started, just wandering by himself and taking in the sights. One fan spotted him and asked to take a picture, which he happily agreed to on the stipulation that the woman point him to the booth where she’d gotten her particularly brightly colored slush drink. After parting ways, Jace weaved his way through the crowd in the direction she’d pointed.
Then he saw it. A magnificent booth adorned with colorful glasses and slushy machines charmed to keep their contents wonderfully chilled. Delightful. Worth braving the noise and crowds of the event. Jace smacked his money down on the bar as soon as it was his turn, barely containing his excitement at the prospect of the cooling drink. “Blue Hawaiian, please,” Jace made an elongated shape with his hands. “The big one. Yeah.” After a moment, the boothkeeper returned with his wonderfully blue drink, decked out with a slice of pineapple and twisty straw that would make any eight year old go out of their skin. This made Jace, who was secretly around eight, very excited. Jace wandered off, happily sipping on his childish drink that contained his allowance of sugar for the week.
Even in his drink induced hazy joy, Jace was able to recognize a familiar face. “Oi! Cody!” He called once he got closer, waving his free hand before raising his massive drink and pointing to it. “Look at this thing!”
Seraphim wasn’t that much into quidditch even when she was at Hogwarts and growing up. Her uncle Connor had seen to that as he’d introduced her to rugby Union. So she’d gotten to watch Ulster and London Irish when she was in the London area. Yet this seemed like a good idea to her as she’d started to appreciate quidditch a little more as she grew up. Or was it the players? She wasn’t quite sure but athletic bodies got her attention male or female.
So this would count as a little holiday as in a black vest, white skirt and a black cap she wandered round curiously. Just looking for something that would catch her eye as she wandered.
