and the stars look very different today.
Romania would always feel like home, that comfortability that came with knowing exactly where you were, where you had come from, and where you were heading. It was a safe feeling, but generally one that did not garner a lot of excitement from the pretty brunette. She loved coming home to visit her family, of course, but she did not often stay long. She was not the daughter her parents had expected and prolonged visits tended to escalate family arguments needlessly. Katerina would be the perfect distraction for her parents, and Katya felt no guilt at all as she told her younger sister to make up and excuse for her absence from this evening's dinner. Katya had plans with a friend.
Sibiu was only a few cities away from where her parents lived, and hosted several little bars and cafes that catered to wizards in which she and her dragonologist friend frequented. This evening she had suggested the Tellerchen, Troll, and Hen, a cozy little pub with enough food and drink to keep their stomachs from rumbling as Katya forced CHARLIE WEASLEY to regal her with tales of his latest beastly conquests. In turn, Katya would detail her latest adventures, though she'd been bound to London for nearly a year now, so she was running low of good tales to share.
Arriving with a crowd of other patrons, Katya scanned the room for an open table or a familiar face, and spotting neither. She headed to the bar instead.
