Taj is just a good lad. He loves his friends, can talk to anybody, and is usually willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. He likes a good time as long as everyone is having fun and is always down for an adventure. Taj played professional Quidditch for nearly 12 years before retiring and deciding he didn't like not working. He's still fairly new at the Hit Wizard thing, only a few years in, so he will inevitably make mistakes and need others in the field to guide him appropriately. Taj isn't really one to have enemies, necessarily, but he's not everybody's cup of tea. He'll stand up for what he believes is right, will have his friends' backs, and isn't totally against throwing a punch when someone starts something. Taj has dated in the past, but he's currently a little preoccupied with getting to know his son better as they try to live together for the first time.

Freshly back from his three year, seven month, and six day work sabbatical, Kieran is ready and rearing to go. A history of overworking to the point of burnout has made him more careful about his work/life balance and he now takes things less seriously. He's a good lad and probably one of the nicest Slytherins that Hogwarts has ever produced, unless he's working in the field. That's a different Kieran, evolved specifically to deal with the scum of the Earth and the messes they leave behind. That Kieran is a serious, detached character lacking most of the easy affability of his off-duty self. Outside of work, though, he loves quiet nights in, building ships in bottles and talking to his moms and little sister on the ol' muggle cellphone face time contraptions. He'll go out, but does he have to? It's so loud out there.

Friendly and charming but not overly sociable, Jace wouldn't have a big circle but he wouldn't flounder in social situations either. He generally prefers quiet nights in with people he likes to a big weekend party, and is often content just doing nothing. That said, he'll be friendly with anybody who isn't a jackass to him. Jace wont go out of his way to hang out with people, but he wouldn't say no to an impromptu lunch date or a Saturday at the beach with the lads. Most of his life revolves around Quidditch, traveling, and spending time with his family, but he's open to new social interactions if he must. He's a bit of an old man about it, though. You wanna go play pool on a Tuesday night and have some beers? He'll probably go if you call before 9pm, otherwise he's already in his jammies.

Austin does not especially like people as a whole. He has been fond of his share over the years, but he’s fought in too many wars and seen civilizations crumble over human pettiness to like them as a species. He finds them fascinating and isn’t above joining the fray sometimes, but they’ve lost their general appeal over the years. That said, he does somewhat enjoy living amongst them in both magical and non-magical communities. Keeping an eye on the mortals and enjoying some of their company is good for the spirit. He has a certain allure that draws people to him, much to his chagrin, and can be personable enough to enjoy a night out with humans that he likes. Unfortunately, he can be kind of a dick once the initial pleasantries wear off and can have a habit of needling people. He says it’s to make the friends he has stronger and prepared for the world, but he’s also just an ass. Austin has had no qualms about intermingling with humans throughout the years, so it’s entirely possible he has some descendants.

Hadley is fun to be around in small spurts. She's amiable and charming enough to talk to anyone (mothers love her) but can't keep up the charade for long if she isn't interested. She doesn't take much seriously and has very little concern for her own welfare, especially if it means doing something fun, so people who care about her can get stressed out when she comes home bloody and grinning. That said, she's a ride or die friend and doesn't really mind what her pals get up to in their personal lives as long as they don't make it her business. If she's decided she doesn't like you, she won't give you the time of day. Hadley is running on pure vibes and if yours are rancid, you're dead to her. Back in the day, her usual week consisted of work and rolling into some far flung town, downing 3 shots of whiskey, flirting with someone's sister, and hightailing it after sharking someone at pool. She's trying to be a better person for her boyfriend's kid these days, so she's calmed down in that she won't start a barfight but she will finish one if you ask nicely.

While he might initially come off as a bit aloof, peeling back the layers just a bit reveals a fun-loving, compassionate lad with a childlike wonder for the world and the innate ability to have a conversation with anybody. He loves the opportunities afforded to him writing for the Prophet, but his first love will always be travel journalism. Danny's ideal state is sitting amongst some ancient muggle ruins, quietly writing in his little journal and snapping pictures, before heading off to grab a beer at the nearest pub. He has a deep desire to find the story associated with any place, talk to the people, and immerse himself in the culture so he can bring the story out organically and respectfully. As such, Danny has spent most of his adult life traveling from place to place, which has strained a lot of his relationships. He's slowing down little by little each year, but the restlessness does end up biting him in the ass more often than not.

Will is a friendly, excitable fella who enjoys Quidditch and a pint with his mates. Although born in Ireland, the majority of Will's childhood was spent in the US. This left him with a pretty clearly American accent that made him stick out like a sore thumb at Hogwarts and, really, everywhere that isn't home. He's played professional Quidditch for all of his adult life and, though he tries his best, he can't quite relate to his friends that live in the "real" world. Will was drafted right out of school by the New Zealand based Macaws before transferring to the British-Irish League, where he played for the Falcons until finding a permanent home at Montrose. Will isn't too picky with his friends and, unless someone really acts like an ass, he'll get on with anybody. He loves talking to anybody and has been a personable lad his whole life, so a year or house difference in Hogwarts wouldn't have stopped him from befriending someone. He's also loud with a history of being overly competitive and trash talking opponents back in the day, so longtime Quidditch rivals wouldn't be out of the question. Will is also always down for a friendly rivalry of any kind. Quidditch, beer pong, competitive crossword puzzles. He doesn't care.

Nobody willingly hates Diego. It's like hating a sunflower or the motion of the ocean. Why bother? He's sweet, polite, and very careful about keeping his competitiveness to Quidditch and pinochle. If you want an enemy, he's very attached to his grandfather (and truly believes he's the coolest man in history), so the quickest way to get under his skin would be to say something rude about Doc. But why would you? Diego is just a funky little guy. He just wants to play Quidditch, hang out with his pals, and sort potion bottles with his grandpa. It it ain't much, but it's honest work.

Likes: potions, mezcal, quaffles (cool shape), horror movies, pickup trucks, and tropical plants.
Dislikes: birds of prey (freaky), poached eggs, and raw onions.

Taj && Garf - Friends? Both Gryffindors maybe a year apart or so, Garf was very much a prankster getting into trouble, etc. He unrepentantly played his guitar in the common room from about fifth year onward even if he wasn't the best. Kind of all came crashing down when his daughter (now 11) was born and practically left on his doorstep. He's kind of shitty at being an adult or at least "acting like one" but he's been putting some pieces together.

Taj && Nicky - These two might be fairly familiar with each other. Nicky's ex-husband is Phil (holyhead harpies coach, etc, etc) so she's been around games. Been known to party in the past and she's looking to get out there again instead of sitting at home just moping. And hey, if Taj ever needed a lawyer.

Jace && Kam - Ok so Kam is friends with Liana (former roommates, etc), so there's that. Also as rough as her line of work is, as much as he might know of it or think he might know of it, she's definitely a fan of the quiet and slowing down. It's more that in some cases, she just doesn't know how to.

Jace && Osmond - I figured I could throw this dude out there as well. Healer for Team USA and fully went to Ilvermony, so no connection past Quidditch or chance meeting. But Osmond's pretty chill; voice of reason trying to keep his friends from doing anything too dumb, and his general vibes go towards chilling with a book when he isn't frantically running around the Quidditch Pitch patching up his players and maybe telling them off a bit.

Austin && Darby - Darby would very kindly and politely pester Austin about the past in great detail (assuming the whole vampire thing is public or semi public knowledge). Of course, Darby's idea of a good time is more spending a night in the archives or going out to a bar and sipping a drink while reading … practically a hermit.

Austin && Emmerson - Emmerson's a half vampire, her parents are fairly well known for their vampire oriented sweets shop. No idea how long she could live, so idk, throwing them together might be interesting.

Hadley && Kam - So Kam's three years younger but I have a distinct feeling that even when they ran into each other at Hogwarts they probably wouldn't get along. Honestly could have been just running into Kam on a bad day and not saying a word. May well have swung at her despite the age and size gap. Rivals, dislike?

Hadley && Nicky - Friendly friend friends! Nicky grew up in the US and didn't move to the UK until her now ex-husband was shipped off to coach for the Holyhead Harpies. So if Hadley was still out and about at bars, etc, at that point I could definitely see them bonding! Could know each other even earlier if Hadley was over in the US, Nicky 100% would go to bat to get her out of jail if needed if they were friends.

Daniel && Lee - I imagine Daniel could be a regular at the Three Broomsticks and possibly quite familiar with Lee. Lee's keeping a lid on his trauma no matter how close to the surface it might burn but he has the scars, hiking and backpacking was a decent part of his life before the whole werewolf attack. He'd probably want to subtly not so subtly live vicariously through Daniel's travels and just generally be fascinated by him / what he does.

Joseph && Osmond - General teammate things! Pestering him about injuries, and maybe verging on friendship as Osmond's just generally a chill sit at home kind of dude.

Joseph && Natalia - Parents of Team USA assemble (are there more? I don't know)! Granted, Natalia's ex does most of the work while she does what she can when she can. She probably tries to not project her own failings onto them, though she'd definitely think going to visit his family is always a good idea, and that his daughter is adorable.

William && Garf - They were the same year at Hogwarts so roommates, probably friends. He was a goof back then, plucking away at his guitar strings and he hasn't changed a whole lot. I can see them having maybe drifted and just coincidentally reconnecting or something. Garf's trying to be all responsible now with an adult job and everything. More influences on his life!

Diego && Dylan - Hello there, cousin. Dylan isn't a huge fan of much of her family and she doesn't exactly have the sort of personality that makes getting along possible unless she's after something. She thinks him playing Quidditch is interesting and useful, would probably ask for tickets so she could work the crowd. It'd take some work if he wanted an actual relationship with her past blood acknowledging blood because she doesn't care much for them past her siblings … most of them.

Diego && Lee - Frequents his grandfather's place for wolfsbane potion and Diego was less intimidating to talk to? Familiar with Diego from the Three Broomsticks? Idk, just thought I'd throw him out there.
